One of the first tweaks is to bring back the full right-click context menu that was removed in Windows 11. This can be achieved by creating a new Registry key called {86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2} underneath CLSID, and then modifying the InprocServer32 value associated with it.
Another important tweak is to disable the pointless lock screen that takes up valuable time and resources. To do this, users need to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows and create a new key called Personalization under it. Then, they can add a DWORD (32-bit) value called NoLockScreen and set its value to 1.
In addition, power users can disable the Settings home screen that has become a distraction in recent builds of Windows 11. To do this, they need to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer and create a new string value called SettingsPageVisibility. Then, they can set it to hide:home.
Furthermore, users can customize the search results in Windows Search by adding a new Registry key called Explorer under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows. They need to add a DWORD (32-bit) value called DisableSearchBoxSuggestions and set its value to 1.
